PrEP or Pre-exposure Prophylaxis, is a pill that is prescribed to HIV negative individuals to protect them from the risk of HIV infection. The drugs used in making PrEP belong to a class of antiviral medications which prevent HIV by stopping the virus from multiplying in your body.
